IB Assessment & Exam Schedule

Trinity IB Policies

Graduation, University Recognition & Scholarships

University applications and early admission: University applications open Oct 1. Students will use grades completed in their grade 11 year, however, there is an advantage to having successfully completed diploma courses early as well as to having taken IB courses. These courses are predictors of success in post-secondary and will help showcase your commitment and ability to handle challenging content.

Transfer Credit: Universities will award transfer credit to students who do well in their IB courses (grades of 5, 6, or 7). This can save you time and money as you head into your first year of university. All Full IB students who complete their IB Diploma also earn credits for completing their IB Diploma. Please check with the institution for specific detail on how credit is awarded.

UAlberta IB, MacEwan IB, Concordia IB, UCalgary IB, UBC IB, UToronto IB, Magill IB

Requesting transcripts: please see the IB Coordinator to send IB transcripts to universities of your choice. Deadline June 1, 2025. Transcripts will be released electronically to institutions on July 6th, 2025, once results are finalized.

Scholarship Applications: many scholarship applications are due in the first semester of your grade 12 year. Plan ahead and know what you would like to apply for well before the deadline. Get involved so you have more to talk about on your application than your marks!
